Justice for Arkansas Parole

Exposing Racial Disparities. Demanding Accountability.

Over 155 pages of state records reveal the truth:
Black individuals in Arkansas (even those assessed as low or moderate risk by the state’s official ORAS tool) are being disproportionately denied parole.

These denials happen across non-violent offenses, in direct contradiction to the state’s own policies.

What We've Done

We’ve submitted a formal legal brief, structured evidence, and a full dataset to national civil rights attorneys and legal organizations.

A class action discovery process is now underway.

We’ve also filed a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice, citing violations of:

  • The Equal Protection Clause (14th Amendment)

  • Due Process protections

  • State misuse of risk assessment models
